Leading across cultures is like entering unfamiliar terrain: the instincts that guided you before may no longer produce the same results.
The same behavior can be interpreted very differently across countries - even within the same organization. Directness may signal confidence in one context and confrontation in another. Collaboration may build trust with one team but be mistaken for uncertainty or a lack of authority by another.
Workplace power can also be shaped by hierarchy, gender, age, nationality, language, seniority and proximity to headquarters. You may find yourself navigating expectations that were never clearly explained, while wondering how much to adapt without losing yourself.
These are not simply gaps in leadership skills. They emerge where personal patterns, cultural expectations and organizational systems meet.

My Human Resources experience across headquarters, regional, and local entities has given me first-hand insight into workplace cultures across Asia and Europe, as well as the complexities of matrix organizations. I understand not only the visible structures of an organization, but also the less visible dynamics that shape who is heard, trusted, and given influence.
Furthermore, my coaching and counselling backgrounds help me look beyond performance alone. We can explore not only what strategy to use, but what a difficult situation awakens within you and how you want to respond.
With me, you do not need to translate your cultural world or explain the realities of working inside a complex organization before we can begin.
