These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to the use of this website and to the counselling and coaching services provided by PEI-SHAN HO counselling ("we", "us"). By using this website or booking a session, you agree to these Terms.

1. Provider Information

Services are provided online and in person in Geneva, in accordance with Swiss law.

2. Services

We offer counselling and coaching services, including:

- Complimentary first consultation (online)
- Individual counselling (online and in person)
- Couples counselling (online and in person)
- Individual coaching (online and in person)

Online sessions take place via secure video call. In-person sessions take place in Geneva at the location confirmed in your booking.

The exact description, duration and price of each service are shown on the Book Online, Service Page or Booking Calendar pages.

3. Booking and Confirmation

- You can book sessions online via our booking pages or by contacting us directly.
- A booking is considered confirmed when you receive a confirmation email or message.
- Please make sure your contact details (email, phone) are correct so we can reach you.

You do not have to create a member account to book a session. If you choose to become a member, you can view and manage your bookings more easily via My Bookings.

4. Fees and Payment

- Current fees are shown on the booking pages and/or service descriptions.
- Fees are in CHF unless stated otherwise.
- Payment methods (e.g. bank transfer, card, online payment) are indicated during checkout or on the invoice.

We may change our fees in the future. Changes apply only to future bookings, not to sessions already confirmed.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

- You can cancel or reschedule a session up to 24 hours before the appointment without charge.
- Cancellations or changes made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be charged at half of the agreed fee, unless there is an emergency or we agree otherwise.
- If you do not attend a session without notice (“no-show”), we may charge the full fee.

If we need to cancel or reschedule (for example due to illness or technical issues), we will inform you as soon as possible and offer a new appointment. No additional costs will be charged to you for this.

6. Online and In-Person Sessions

- For online sessions, you are responsible for having a stable internet connection and a private, quiet space.
- We use third-party tools (e.g. video platforms) and take reasonable steps to protect your privacy, but we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmission over the internet.
- Please do not record sessions without our explicit written consent.

7. Confidentiality and Data Protection

We treat your personal data and the content of sessions as confidential, in line with professional ethics and Swiss data protection law.

- We only share information if you give explicit consent, if we are legally obliged to do so, or if there is a serious and imminent risk of harm to you or others.

8. No Emergency or Crisis Service

Our counselling services are not an emergency or crisis service.

- If you are in immediate danger or crisis, please contact your local emergency number (in Switzerland: 144 for medical emergencies, 117 for police) or a crisis hotline in your area.
- Do not rely on email, messages or online booking for urgent situations.

9. Use of the Website

When using this website, you agree to:

- Not misuse the site (e.g. no hacking, spreading malware, or illegal content).
- Not infringe the rights of others (e.g. privacy, copyright).
- Not attempt to access areas or data you are not authorized to access.

We may temporarily or permanently restrict access to the website or certain functions if necessary for security, maintenance or legal reasons.

Unless otherwise stated:

- All content on this website (text, images, logo, layout) is owned by or licensed to PEI-SHAN HO counselling.
- You may view and print content for your personal, non-commercial use only.

We provide our services with care and in accordance with professional standards. However:

- Counselling is a collaborative process and we cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
- To the extent permitted by Swiss law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or our services.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability where this is not allowed under applicable law (for example, in cases of intent or gross negligence).

If a dispute arises and cannot be resolved amicably, the courts of Geneva, Switzerland shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory legal provisions.
